Sealing welding of explosion-proof valves is a challenging aspect of power battery welding. The explosion-proof valve acts as a safety barrier for the power battery, and its thin sheet structure requires not only a complete seal but also sufficient weld strength. Therefore, common issues such as false welding and unstable weld penetration depth are prevalent.

In this case, the laser welding defect detection system provided quality assurance for the sealing welding of explosion-proof valves by effectively identifying false welds and abnormal weld penetration through signal analysis during process monitoring.
