Case 1

This case study involves the welding structure of components in a certain brand of mobile phones, which includes over 30 welding points and more than 10 welding processes.

Case 2

In this case, a defect analysis experiment was conducted on the aforementioned processes. The laser welding defect detection system successfully identified welding defect areas during the calibration process (marked areas A-F in the image below).

In the case study experiment, the laser welding defect detection system found non-defective, surface contamination, work-piece bulging, power reduction, position deviation, and multi-material issues in the A-F areas, all indicating substandard welding.

Moreover, the laser welding defect detection system achieved full-process detection across multiple processes without the need to set parameters for each individual process, significantly reducing the time required for setting detection parameters and minimizing the impact on production line debugging.
